Choose Fight. Register to become a volunteer

Our volunteers are the MVPs of the Big Freeze. From selling the iconic blue Beanies to helping raise awareness, our volunteers play a vital role in the fight against motor neurone disease (MND).
And volunteering isn’t limited to the Big Freeze at the MCG. You can get involved at State Freeze events across the country or join the team during Big Freeze Eve. Each event helps FightMND invest in vital MND research and programs supporting Australians affected by MND.

Volunteering in action

A movement is only as strong as the people who choose to be a part of it. And our volunteers Choose Fight. Across the country our volunteers help carry Neale’s vision forward, raising awareness and strengthening the FightMND Army.

This fight began before us, but will end with us. With every hour volunteered, every event supported and every Beanie worn, our community fuels the hope and momentum needed to beat the Beast that is MND.

Because of volunteers like you, FightMND continues to invest in groundbreaking research and essential care initiatives for Australians living with MND. Your choice to FIGHT creates real impact. Explore our Impact page to see how your support helps take the fight to the Beast.
